Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer Manufacturer & Supplier
TOC analysis for pharmaceutical water systems and process water — laboratory and semi-online analyzers with automated sampling options.
Overview
Manufacturer & U.S. supplier. MedIntegrity designs and builds the TOC analyzer in its own factory — 28 patented products, 15 years in pharmaceutical testing equipment.
Where Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer Is Used
Purified water & WFI
TOC monitoring for pharmaceutical water systems at the 1 ppb level — the acceptance limits defined by USP and EP, checked run after run.
Water for injection production
Semi-online and laboratory TOC analysis across the water loop: distribution points, standards, blanks and brackets, with the automatic sampler for unattended runs.
Release testing
TOC as a release attribute for parenteral products, with electronic records and control materials in the shape the audit expects.
Going Deeper
TOC in Pharmaceutical Water
Total organic carbon is the key indicator for purified water and water for injection systems. The acceptance limits live at the 1 ppb level, and the instruments have to hold there run after run. Online and semi-online TOC monitoring with automated sampling closes the loop between production and release testing. You will meet the instrument written as a TOC analyzer or a TOC analyser — same machine, same number, just the two spellings sitting side by side in the pharmacopeias and in the equipment aisle.
TA Series & AIS-2.0
The TA series covers laboratory and semi-online TOC analysis. The TA-2.0 responds in under 4 minutes, accepts samples from 1 to 95 °C, and measures 0.001 to 1.5 mg/L at 0.001 mg/L resolution — using 185 nm UV oxidation with conductivity detection, the low-energy route many pharmaceutical water programs have adopted. The TA-3.0 is specified for reproducibility within 3% with hygienic design for the cleanroom edge. The AIS-2.0 automatic sampler (20-vial tray, modular) runs alongside the TA series for longer unattended water testing runs.
Compliance Context
TOC acceptance for pharmaceutical water is defined by USP and EP — including the three-stage determination of purified water in USP <43> — and instrument qualification, control materials and electronic records are expected at audit. The TA series is qualified to GMP, and the record it produces is the record the audit reads.
Frequently Asked Questions
TA-100 or TA-200 — which one?
Both respond in under four minutes, hold 3% reproducibility, and store five years or more of history. The TA-100 measures 0–1,000 mg/L with a 5 µg/L detection limit in a compact 430 × 455 × 440 mm instrument. The TA-200 measures 0–3,000 mg/L (extensible) and is a 32 kg system with electronic testing records. Tell us your water matrix and test volume and we will size it.
What does the TA-2.0 do differently?
The TA-2.0 is built for the low end of the range: it responds in under four minutes, accepts samples from 1 to 95 °C, and measures 0.001 to 1.5 mg/L at 0.001 mg/L resolution using 185 nm UV oxidation with conductivity detection — the low-energy route many pharmaceutical water programs have adopted.
Does the AIS-2.0 replace the TA series?
No — the AIS-2.0 is the automatic sampler (20-vial tray, modular, 8.6 kg) that combines with the TA series into a fully automatic measurement system, so the water program runs unattended for longer windows with the same result format.
Do the analyzers support the USP <43> three-stage determination of purified water?
Yes. The TA series supports the three-stage determination of purified water as defined in USP <43>, with the acceptance limits and control materials your program specifies.
